This is the first I've heard of this. I was under the impression that Yahoo! purchased Overture, as well. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

I have always think that overture pertains to yahoo, but I've seen posts, both here and at other forums, that indicate that it may pertain (have pertained?) to MSN, as well. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

Hi mate

Overture was purchased by Yahoo and is now called 'Yahoo! Search Marketing'.

'Yahoo! Search Marketing' (YSM) encompasses Yahoo itself, partner search sites & a content network that display contextual ads similar to Google adSense.

MSN used to get all its sponsored search results from YSM / Overture, but is currently phasing out their partnership with YSM and switching all their sponsored advertising to their own adCenter system. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. Yup, MS adCenter for the UK market is currently in Beta testing, so they haven't phased out YSM yet. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --
