Have you seen changes in Yahoo SERPs? I see some big changes on my keywords. I think Yahoo is getting better and better. With every minor change the SERPs are better... more relevant , but this is still not enough! -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. Well google demoted me pr 2 to 1 on new site but yahoo gotz both biker leathers kw sites 2 and 3 - go figure; with new site 2 and more established 3. Then I found a mess of "accidental" cross linking as these are similar sites and lotta copying and missed stuff that shouldn't of been there.
Perhaps yahoo found the corrections. Right now I'd like google to take lessons from yahoo lol - then again, G would become inferior SE huh? -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --
Moved up 2 spots 19 to 17 on Yahoo for my main keyword -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --
For 2 months one of my sites would be #4 in serps and the next day #16. It would change every other day on the money. Yesterday was the first time it stuck on a different number #11. Today it is still #11 and so I think it has settled -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --
Wasn't so lucky with yahoo, a few of mine drop a few places, some others gained. Funny how Yahoo drop 3 of my sites down alittle and google moved them way up and increased their page rank? -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. I see some big changes on my keywords in the SERPs and even though some of my sites are up, I don't think yahoo improved at all, it uses the same predictible algos. It's not because I'm loosing good spots but because I see tons of 404 URLs in highly competitive spots, extreme spammy sites get top spots and so on. IMHO Yahoo! is going in the wrong way. I've always been a hard supporter of Yahoo!, but unfortunately I don't use it for seaching myself since 80% of the searches I have performed today returned extremely bad results and I had to go back to Google to find what I was looking for. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. They call it the 6th Weather Report and I saw some drops from it for some of my sites. Redirect and KW stuffing pages now rank at the top. Yahoo! needs to work on that algo still. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --
well we had made some major design changes to the site, although mostly visual, no real SEO changes other than changing the KW density from around 5% to about 3%. We continued to add new articles on a weekly basis, around 3 per week, and gain new relevant links. The last week had us pretty dam nervous as to what to expect.
However this morning i wake up to find that all has tuned out good. it appears that we have moved up to No13, from 26 in the serps for a single keyword which has 108 million competing sites in the SERPS, so as you can imagine we are pretty happy! -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members.
