Why Yahoo strict more Than Google and MSN
Has any one else noticed Yahoo is getting more strict then Google and MSN lately? I can get indexed faster on Google with more pages too! While Yahoo continues to drop some of my pages! I feel like I've fallen in a parallel universe or something. I just don't get it. It seems Google is loosing up, and Yahoo is tightening up! -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

I get indexed fine, but appearing in the SERPs is easier in G than Y! for me. Y! doesn't seem to like my sites. But my SERPs have been improving this week so maybe it's just a big fluctuation... -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

May be for older sutes... I am experiencing HARD to get into the Yahoo..SERPs. But She cares my newbies...much better than Google. May this coz of Yahoo needs more index volume than Google Anyway I know after sometime, those new sites are going to drop in Yahoo, but Top in google...
This may coz of We are optimizing for Google, and less cared abt Yahoo... ('specially once you start getting from google)... -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

I've always viewed Y as "less efficient". -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

What I'm seeing is a lot of inconsistencies with y!
I can't say with just old or new sites, it's a bag of mixed nuts! Y will index 200 pages one day, then changer her mind the next day and take back over half! Then the next day she gives them back, but the day after I end up with like 60 pages indexed! Keep in mind, getting indexed in Y takes longer then G now! G will not usually give and take like Y. For example, if G indexes 200 pages one day, they will stick.
Also I'm seeing worse serps too. Not just for my sites, but also the relevance is getting worse on serps. I was of the opinion that Y had better relevant serps then G for a long time, but now, I'm not so sure. May be it's just me. If not too many other people are seeing this, then it may be nothing. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

I was just curious, for the people having a hard time getting good SERPS in Yahoo, are you in their directory? Since joining their directory I have always been on page 1 or 2 for the last year or so. I got clobbered in the last GOOGLE update, but my SERPS have increased in YAHOO (just became #1 for a major kw). I consider myself extremely lucky since my listings in YAHOO saved my business this year.

You wouldn't be alleging that Yahoo might favor in their organic serps those who have paid Yahoo $ to get into their directory, would you?

If they do that, thay are going to go out of the SE business, I think.

You're right that if they'd do it they'd probably go out of the bussiness, but do you think they'd ever admit it ? I don't think so, so IMHO if it would be to happen that way it would be just another "cold war". -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members.
