Yahoo Sandbox- big problem

Hi Friends
Why does it take so long to rank on Yahoo? I had one site come out of their sandbox after 3 years and go to the top. If you have a site that is in a major industry like Casinos then you sit in their sandbox and they hope you pay the $299. After around 3 years they give up on you paying and then allow you into the regular SERPS. If you have a site that many other people have but take off the main index page and replace it with an inner page that they don't have a lot of information on, it will instantly rank high. However if your index page is something that they have alot of information on they put you into the sandbox.

The only way around this is to make multiple sites that deal with the subject of your inner pages which is what I did. As soon as I did this Yahoo noticed that there was new information that they never had in their search engine and it instantly ranked high.

I personally think that Yahoo doesn't have a sandbox similar to Google. You can usually rank after 4-5 months. You have mentuones Casino based site, which is highly competitive field, it's not Sandboxed.

Olonga is cent percent right. It does take a bit of time to get a good rank if you do your SEO "white hat," and do it well.
I also know from experience that if you do things right, then you can rank better than sites in the Y! directory for your target keywords/keyphrases.

Yahoo doesn't have a sandbox. It just takes time to get ranked. They like backlinks and seem to give a lot of weight to backlinks. Go for backlinks and you will soon get a good rank.

You can not call it Sandbox but there is an aging delay of 3-5 months before you can rank well. Unlike Google, Yahoo doesn't seem to care about the quality of the links or even the relavence so pretty much links from anywhere will help you rank well.

hey, It took me 6 months before i appear on yahoo. But for another site it took just 1 month, 5 months ago, but its because i was listed into zeal, and zeal gave a boost especially on Yahoo and Looksmart SERPS.

I want you to know about this

I was looking to buy a software and was about to buy from one of those big and expensive sites, but then i dsicovered a site at www.buy-cheap-software.biz ....
I first thought it's gonna be some kind of a demo or what, but when i ordered and got the software it was just the full functioning software, exactly the same that i was about to pay way higher!

now, can anyone tell me what a big monopoly is going on there? These big stores are selling the same software for multiply-time expensive! Is this some sort of special politic to keep the prices high?
