I have had some recent success with my site. There are three or four keywords that I am targeting. I cracked the top twenty on AltaVista and Yahoo after applying some of the advice I found here a few days ago. Yes, getting click throughs at last! My # 1 keyword has gone from being nowhere to # 1 strangely enough too.
