yahoo directory worh it or not!!

Can anyone who has had a listing in the Yahoo Directory tell me if it has made a large difference in terms of their Yahoo search ranking and the number of backlinks they get from other sites copying the directory data?
I, like many others, am contemplating shelling out the $299 fee but want to make sure that it will be worth it.

A month ago i had a huge diffrent in the srep if your domain was in the directory now I really don't know after the last update.

But links from DMOZ and YAHOO directory surely improve your ranking in google.
