1 on yahoo at one time and not in 400 the other

hello friends, I have a four month old site, a good amount of backlinks. It was
Number one for all the keywords i havebut then i checked 2 hours later i was not in top 400, checked again after an hour was again #1 for all keywords, than checked again, was not in top 400.
its scary
what is causing this and what is the solution.
