Unhappy removing dead URLs from yahoo

hello guys
what's up

I and my friends own some websites which are indexed in yahoo bur resently the URLs of the sites changed coz of changes made by us but yahoo still possess old URLs. Any ideas how to remove the dead URLs from yahoo?

HELLO

Nope, you certainly can't get yahoo to unchache your dead URLs, i think you will have to wait till yahoo recrawls and indexes your site then the cache will be updated to a relatively recent version .

hi everybody, there is one way out. By doing a 301 redirection or a meta refresh from old page to the new yahoo can pick your new URLs. Both tell the spider that they need to update their database with the new location. Things should be on track in 3-4 days.
