Parallels Virtuozzo 4.0 Containers Now Available

Company's server virtualization software will deliver on the promise of the 'Virtualized Data Center'.

Parallels Inc., formerly SWsoft, a virtualization software provider, announced that the latest version of its container-based server virtualization software - Parallels Virtuozzo Containers - is now generally available. Version 4.0 includes enhancements and features designed to improve usability, data center management and business continuity.

The company declared that there will be a launch webcast event with Parallels CEO, Serguei Beloussov on thursday at 11 AM Eastern U.S time that will further illuminate the Parallels strategy for the next generation of virtualization products. Joining will be executives from AMD, HP, Intel, Novell and SGI.
