intY, a secure Internet managed services provider in the UK today announced that it has selected Ensim Corporation, the provider of management software for unified communications infrastructure to deploy Unify Shared Edition. intY chose Unify as its management platform because of its ability to work seamlessly with intY's Microsoft Hosted Messaging and Collaboration (HMC) infrastructure and for its ease and speed of deployment.

intY's customer base was looking for an integrated solution that combined messaging and collaboration with intY's security expertise. The company initially decided to deploy Microsoft HMC version 4.0., but after weeks of internal deployment activity, the company realized it would be more effective to find a management solution that worked efficiently with the HMC 4.0 infrastructure.
