Plesk 8.3 Beta Program Featured at Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Hosting Roadshow
SWsoft yesterday announced the beta version of Plesk 8.3 for Windows, the first control panel to support Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Internet Information Services 7.0 (IIS7), Microsoft Corp.'s latest web server technology. SWsoft will be demonstrating the Plesk beta at the Windows Server 2008 Hosting Roadshow, which began yesterday in the United States with additional dates in cities worldwide.
The software is believed to automate a large number of tasks, allowing service providers to reduce operating costs while increasing efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. The Plesk 8.3 beta program is expected to give Windows users an opportunity to test a variety of new features in Plesk, as well as improvements to IIS7, such as the enhanced FastCGI module for faster, more reliable hosting.
