Changes all its Linux and Windows servers to Plesk version 8.1.
Avantex Hosting, a web hosting services provider, announced that it has upgraded all its Linux and its Windows servers to Plesk version 8.1. The decision has been implemented in all of Avantex's five data centers, says the company.
"More than ever, Plesk 8.1 presents a clean and easy-to-use interface that enables the efficient management of any Linux or Windows server," said George Baker, CEO of Avantex Hosting. He added "Plesk's new version 8.1 offers better security features, along with a more powerful SpamAssassin spam filter."
"One of the biggest advantages of the Plesk control panel is that anybody can use it, without learning any complex programming language, and without any basic knowledge of either the Linux or Windows operating system," said Rick Duncan, Avantex's Senior Network Engineer.
