Plans to develop four data centers to help meet customer demand for SAVVIS managed hosting and colocation services.
SAVVIS, Inc., an IT infrastructure service provider, today announced plans to develop four data centers to help meet customer demand for SAVVIS managed hosting and colocation services.
SAVVIS will develop the centers, located in the Atlanta, New York and Washington, DC metropolitan areas and in Santa Clara, Calif., to make them available to customers in the fourth quarter 2007. The four centers will add approximately 180,000 sqft of raised floor space and increases data center footprint from 10% to 1.5 million sqft. All of the centers will be designed for security and reliability, power availability, cooling, network connectivity and environmental controls.
