Catalyst Investors, a private equity fund, today announced the acquisition of Aplus.Net, a web presence firm operating under the brand names Aplus.Net and Cedant. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in San Diego, California, Aplus.Net provides website presence solutions including domain registration services, web hosting, dedicated server hosting, web design and web marketing services to approx 90,000 small and medium-sized businesses. Founders Ivan and Lilian Vachovsky will retain an Ownership stake and Mr.Vachovsky continues to serve on the board of directors.

Aplus.Net has 300 employees with operations in San Diego and Sacramento, California, Phoenix, Arizona, Sofia, Bulgaria and Manila, Philippines.
