Easy CGI Upgrades Microsoft SQL Server

Enhances MySQL and PHP; available in all hosting plans, phpMyAdmin support is also included to allow the web-based database administration.

Easy CGI, a provider of web hosting services, today announced that they have upgraded the versions of Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and PHP. All Shared hosting plans now feature these updated versions.

According to the company, SQL Server 2005 provides secure and reliable storage for both relational and structured data. It offers performance optimizations without any change to user code or database structure. In conjunction with this version upgrade, Easy CGI has increased the default MSSQL database size from 50 MB to 300 MB.

Easy CGI has upgraded to MySQL 4.1.21 because of its consistent performance, stability and security. phpMyAdmin support is included with all Easy CGI MySQL database installations to allow the web-based database administration.
