A 32 node grid-server network allows administrators to design, edit and control multi-tier applications using the web based drag and drop editor.
Layered Technologies, a managed dedicated server solutions provider, yesterday announced the release of its 32 node grid-server network called 'The Grid Layer'.
TGL allows to deploy utility based services and platforms with scalable CPU, memory and storage. The TGL system also allows administrators to design, edit, configure and control multi-tier applications using the intuitive web based drag and drop editor.
Applications running on the TGL can scale from 1 to 32 servers without any code changes. In case of a down hardware node, TGL will re-deploy the application and IP resources to the next available node to allow for recovery with no human intervention, claims the company.
