Righteous Software, a provider of backup, restore and disaster recovery softwares, today announced its solution for continuous data protection.
Righteous Backup is an automated solution. Web servers are operational during incremental backups with minimal impact. With short backup window it allows to perform nearly-continuous backups. Righteous Backup captures point-in-time images on open files too. Data is continuously encrypted during the backup process and while in storage. Restores can be performed directly from backup, with no need for an OS reinstall on the replacement hard drive, claims the company.
