Host Gator Releases New Dedicated Hosting Plan

Host Gator, a web hosting provider, yesterday announced the release of its new 'Standard' dedicated hosting plan.

Company says that the offering is targeted at small to medium-sized business customers looking for an affordable managed dedicated server. Its 'Standard' server is fully customizable and includes management and monitoring, backed by 24/7 support and a 99.9% uptime guarantee. The servers also come with an installation of the latest version of cPanel or Web Host Manager and free Fantastico scripts for adding features such as blogs, portals, image galleries, site builders and billing automation.

According to Host Gator, each 'Standard' dedicated server is equipped with an AMD Athlon64 3200 processor in addition to generous amounts of hard drive space, memory and bandwidth. Customers will be able to choose from the Red Hat Linux 9.0, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 or FreeBSD operating systems.
