DiscountASP.NET, a provider of ASP.NET hosting and SQL hosting, announces today SQL 2005 hosting service enhancements with the launch of an automated Attach MDF File Tool.

It says that this SQL 2005 tool facilitates the transfer of local SQL 2005 Express and local SQL 2005 databases to the hosted production SQL 2005 database, and is available as part of the SQL Tool Suite in the DiscountASP.NET control panel at no additional cost.

With this new SQL 2005 Tool, developers can detach their local SQL 2005 Express or local SQL 2005 database and upload the MDF file to their web site. By specifying the location of the MDF file and the target hosted SQL 2005 database, the MDF File Tool will automatically attach the MDF file to the hosted production SQL 2005 database.
