Hostway Corporation, a web hosting provider and an ICANN accredited domain name registrar, yesterday announced a discount on .info domains through August 2006.

The company will be reducing the price of first year new registrations of .info domain names, as part of a group-wide promotion. .info domains are available from Hostway UK Ltd., at a cost of £1.49 for 1 year. After the first year, the annual cost of renewal returns to Hostway's standard price of £8.95 per year, says the company.

Neil Barton, Director of Hostway UK commented, ''The .info extension is probably the most undervalued of all the second tier Top Level Domain (after .com .net. .org) on offer in my opinion.
