UltraDNS Corporation, a provider of Managed DNS services, yesterday announced the appointment of Amir Shahmiri to its executive leadership team as Executive Vice President of Operations and Service Delivery.
In this position, Shahmiri will bolster the UltraDNS global network with a focus on security measures designed to enhance operations and customer service. Shahmiri comes to UltraDNS with over 18 years of experience managing the operations of multi-million dollar IT organizations. Most recently, he was MD at Network Solutions, where he oversaw business operations of a subsidiary, including managing separation negotiations with VeriSign. Prior to Network Solutions, he held a number of key positions at MCI, including program and project management, technical support, project implementation, and engineering.
