GoDaddy.com, an ICANN accredited registrar, recently announced that it is expanding further into Phoenix by purchasing a new data center located in the heart of Phoenix's 'Opportunity Corridor'.
The company recently purchased the 270,000 square foot facility for $9.5 million. Located near Sky Harbor Airport, the data center will house some of the computer hardware used to keep the company's global operation up and running. Founder and President of Go Daddy, Bob Parsons, will join Phoenix Mayor, Phil Gordon, to do the honors with an official ribbon cutting ceremony today at 11:15 a.m. at 1402 E. Buckeye, near 14th St.
"We look forward to enriching our relationship with the city of Phoenix and the chance to be a part of its development. Both Phoenix and Go Daddy are growing at a rapid pace. It's a great fit," said Bob Parsons.
