The company's Paris Datacentre Lease Agreement will provide mission critical IT Infrastructure to IBM.
Digital Realty Trust, Inc., a manager and owner of corporate and internet gateway datacentres, today announced that it has completed a Turn-Key Datacentre lease agreement with IBM, a provider of IT infrastructure services. The company states that under this agreement, IBM will establish a new hosting datacentre in its property located in suburban Paris.
It explains that this new datacentre is an example of its initiative in advancing the energy efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of datacentre facilities. This new Turn-Key Datacentre will be the first release of the new POD Architecture design in Paris. POD Architecture design configuration and construction methodology developed by Digital Realty Trust promotes the energy efficiency needed for green datacentre operation.
