Companies collaborate to offer SaaS for internet service providers, telcos and web hosting companies.
Open-Xchange, a provider of open source collaboration software, today announced an agreement with O3SIS, a provider of open-standards-based over-the-air data synchronization and push technologies. The company states that O3SIS will add mobile capabilities to the e-mail, calendar, address book and tasks of Hosted Open-Xchange.
It claims that both organisations expect to release in the third quarter software that will enable internet service providers, telcos and web hosting companies to offer their customers a mobile extension of the Open-Xchange Hosting Edition.
