The company plans to expand to a new data center in an effort to better server its customers.
Host Department, a web hosting and domain name registration provider, today announced that they are soon expanding to a new data center in New Jersey in effort to provide reliability and access times to its current and future customers.
The company explains that with the data center capacities at Hurrican Electric and Terremark Worldwide reaching their respective limits, it decided it was time for it to further expand itself with the third data center. It states that after relocating its head office to Union City, the only logical step for the company to take is having their third data center near the New Jersey region. This enables on-site engineers to be quickly dispatched to handle critical hardware issues, it claims.
The company further adds that the New Jersey facility will house its new range of blade servers and Storage Area Network fabric.
