Comodo, Inc., an Identity and Trust Assurance management solutions company, yesterday released Comodo BackUp.
Comodo BackUp is an automated file duplication and recovery tool for Windows XP/2000 that allows users to schedule ongoing backups of critical files. The company says that free of charge, the release is suitable for home users and network administrators. It protects data from system crashes, accidental deletion and corruption from viruses by generating a safe backup copy of valuable files.
Additionally the solution allows users to save backups to local and network drives as well as FTP servers and CD/DVD rewriters. It also features file synchronization, rule-based filtering, e-mail reporting and extensive reporting logs.
