Managed Services Growing Faster than IT in Europe

A new report from BroadGroup discussing the market for Managed services has revealed that although Managed services is growing faster than IT, it is still currently dominated by traditional players. The key results of the report will be provided at the forthcoming Data Centres Europe conference in London taking place March 21-23.

Data Centres have recognised that managed services can provide a significant shift in value creation for their businesses, and many are poised to launch new products. However the report will suggest that a number of challenges confront Data Centres in achieving significant presence in this sector.

As the Managed services market matures in Europe, they are forecast to be at the centre of further strategic roadmaps by Data Centre operators, confronting the need for scale on one hand, and shifting from a fill in service to a fully fledged player on the other.
