appearance in search engines?

Hi everyone,
I planned to use Add-on domain as my primary domain in a shared hosting plan and I concerned about people finding my primary domain as I own some fansites and I thought if it would appear in the search engines as: domain.com/fansite
However, cpanel has it all configured so that only fansite.com shows up in the search engines? Is this true?

Yeah, this is true. You can access the site at domain.com/fansite and probably fansite.domain.com as well, but those won't get crawled unless you link to them.
