Pacific Software Publishing, Inc., an Internet service provider, today announced that they have deployed connectivity service provided by NTT, a Japanese data & voice provider, in Seattle, Washington.
The PSPINC datacenter is directly connected to NTT POP in the Westin Building located in Seattle and extends to Japan. The PSPINC datacenter is ideal for US companies to host their web servers to provide information to Japanese customers, says the company.
"This project took almost a year to plan and implement. As a result we have created a datacenter in the Pacific Northwest that is no further from Japanese users than any downtown Tokyo datacenter. We have one of the best Web & Email hosting package but our Japanese customers were asking for faster connectivity between Japan and our datacenter. The only way to provide faster connectivity to our Japanese customers was to extend the Japanese Internet network to the US. We have contracted with NTT
