BW issue.

hi there, With 1u server I am going to be colocating. It is an AMD 64 Single Processor, 2 gig ram, 300 gig raid 1. and also buying a firewall.
I was looking at the pix 501, it has a maximum throughput of 60 mbps, pending having that box loaded with customers, can i achieve that bandwidth with that 1u?

60 mbps should be enough for a 1U server, with those specifications, your server would be hard pressed to fully use 10 mbps I believe, and 20 mbps would definately overload your server, it depends what your running, and to add multiple servers, dont put more than 6-8 servers on that firewall, 10 mbps per server would be talking like 5000-6000 gb bandwidth a month on one server. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members.
