New Edge is a small player compared to Qwest and AT&T.
AT&T has a great network, with some strange top management. On the political front they are really alienating the internet industry. AT&T generally has lower latency then Qwest in North America.
Qwest has a good network and great tech support, responsive NOC, etc. Qwest has an awesome SLA. Qwest does not have as good of international connectivity as AT&T

Qwest really likes to sell full ports. It is occasionally possible to get a fractional port from AT&T at a lower cost then Qwest, depending on the location.
