dual xeon or dual opteron....

I am hosting a phpbb forum having thousands of members, 100's of members online at the same time. The forum database size is 450Mb, avarage datatransfer per day is 20 to 25Gb. i think you need at least one high powered server or may be possibly two i.e. one for frontend, one for MySQL. Dual Xeon or Opteron should be fine, along with a decent amount of RAM. try one server, and then if needed, upgrade to two servers. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members.
