server crashed, files lost, what to do

hi all,
we have a dedicated server and it got crashed once and we lost many of our files and plus work of other web projects too.

How can we overcome this situation

Where is the physical location of your server? Have you taken the backup? Which control Panel were you using?

I recommend to make frequently external FTP backups.

Your Hosting provider should help. If they don't provide backups, its time to move on nd find a new host.You can go thru this forum and find some good providers.
