Verio Shared Hosting Platform Launched in Japan

Verio, Inc., a subsidiary of NTT Communications and a provider of managed hosting solutions, today announced that NTT Communications has introduced its new Open Computer Network (OCN) Hosting Service for Windows, a Microsoft Windows-based shared hosting suite, offered for the first time to small and medium sized enterprises in Japan.

The company says that the suite encompasses products and services essential for small businesses and developers to establish and manage a presence on the Internet, including a variety of Windows-based hosting plans that meet the diverse needs of small businesses in Japan. The OCN Hosting Service also offers Verio's MultiSite technology that enables customers to host multiple domain-based web sites within one shared hosting plan. OCN Hosting Service customers can host up to 25 sites with unique URLs, all under one account to save costs.
