posting more in order to access forums

Am new here, but i dont like the idea of having some minimum posts in order to have access to the marketplace forums.

i dont see much of value in people making 25 posts first and then they get access to the forums. I think people will end up making stupid posts and just very small comments in order to reach this threshold of 25 posts

but this is something happening on most of the forums. Restricted access is to the users who are good and add up things for the help of community.

i think the concept started with two things in mind.

1. the user will know others and also others on the forum will get an idea about the user before they deal.

its about making a reputation before starting to sell anything
ppl should be aware what a person talks like and what he is all about before buying or selling anything with him / her.
