reselling differences?

Hello everyone,
I have query regarding reselling on a VPS or Dedicated account i.e. what are the differences? Is it basically a 'gaurantee' that they have a more 'reliable' hosting account as opposed to a shared one that may be on the same server as another site? Please let me know!

Dedicated is your server and you can control all of it. So when someone gets hosting from you, they have an account on your server. As of right now, your an account on someone else's server.
