reselling suggestions needed?

Hello there,
I want to do some reselling. I don't initially forsee web hosting being the mainstay of my enterprise, that would more likely be the web design. I want to know what would be the best solution initially? should I look to host a dedicated or virtual server and create my own plans? I am just looking for some good ideas. Any other tips?
