server replacement!!!

Hello guys,
In a reseller situation a server is setup, multiple accounts are placed and eventually it is filled. After couple of years, would it be prudent to replace the server? Do reseller companies do that or do they just run them until there is a problem? Any thoughts?

Providers should replace the hard disks after a while.
