Default Advantages of objects?

What are the advantages of using objects in PHP (OOP)?

I can see how objects can help you re-use code in some ways, but there are also some things in objects that you will not be able to re-use.

A database object can help with functions that you will have to re-use, but why is it better to use objects in just a regular site where you'll have a login system and some blog/commenting stuff. You will have to change many things in the code if you were to reuse it anyway, so what's the advantage? -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. True, but having a generic solution allows for greater reusability. And you want reusability.
