Reading an email account

Hi forum friends

Is it possible to have a script access a microsoft exchange server email account, download the messages, save the attachment and message to a database.

the last bit i know how to do, its just how (if its possible) do i connect to the server, and download the message / attachments...

Well, you could use sockets.
I remember doing something similar to this.
