Cool Building a simple MVC Framework

Hello

I'm interested in learning the basics of creating and implementing your own MVC Framework. Using other's frameworks is okay, but it just doesn't fly with me. I rather take it step by step and learn exactly what's in the framework.

I have an application in mind that I would like to create using this MVC framework I am attempting to make. The problem now is finding a good tutorial that explains the basics and shows you how to set one up. Does anyone have any good sources? I tried googling but only found one on OnLamp that used PHP5, which I do not have.

Any help will be appreciated -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

It's worth the upgrade to PHP5 if you want to use an MVC framework. It makes things a lot easier.

However, they have some php4 examples here: http://www.phppatterns.com/docs/?idx=design -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --
