Default calculating date of first day?

Hi all of you,
I need your help as I am looking to create a query to calculate the date of the first day of the week that any date occurs in. My week commencing date is Monday. Any help you can offer would be great.

USE test;
DROP TABLE IF EXISTS foo;
CREATE TABLE foo (anydate DATE);
INSERT INTO foo VALUES (CURRENT_DATE), (CURRENT_DATE - INTERVAL 121 DAY);

SELECT
anydate,
anydate - INTERVAL (5 + DAYOFWEEK(anydate)) MOD 7 DAY AS Monday
