establishing SSL connection?

Hi there,
How to establish SSL connection to my MySQL server? I can make ssl connection with mysql command-line tools under unix. But I can't make connection in MySQL Administrator. I have specified "Use SSL..." in "Details". This can be because of self-signed certificate. I think so because I can connect under unxi only if --ssl-ca specified. How to specify path to CA file in MySQL Administrator and to specify client cert/key if I'll want to use this? Any idea?

You can connect to your own self-signed mysql databases from windows over ssl, using commercial clients, and even with a simple perl script. I think the windows binary of mysql administrator available from mysql.org is compiled w/o ssl support. I would suggest you to download the source for mysql administrator, and compile it for windows architecture yourself, ensuring that you compile in an ssl-capable client library. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members.
