....My_Table' doesn't exist?

Hi all of you,
Looking up my tables in the QB recently, I found "Could not fetch columns" under all of my tables except for my MyISAM tables. Using the MySQL command line utility and "show tables", I see my tables, but trying to select, "SELECT * FROM My_Table", I get "ERROR 1146 (42S02): Table 'MyDatabase.My_Table' doesn't exist". Support told me that my tables had become corrupted and asked me to restore my database from a backup. Anybody have any idea what's going on and what to do about it? Any idea?
