Default storing large volume of data.

Hello all,
I use InnoDB to store all the large volume of data. I wana create millions of tables in one database, but it seemed not working as expected. Errors occured and creating time of tables was very slow. Is there any limit of the number of tables in one database? Please reply.

Handling millions of tables/rows in each table is a typical case calling for threads and multi-processor hardware. The required trick is expensive hardware. They use clusters of machines which parallelize the job in distribuited RAM and in disk RAIDs. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members.
