data safety.

Hi,
Using MyISAM storage engine, I am wondering about safety of data when connected to database. The MySQL service was suddently stopped when connected to database. How is writing to files handeled? Please explain me this or give link to some article that explains it.

If you wana kill the client, the server continues to run, completes the statement and saves everything what is to save. And if you stop the server, then it usually shuts down gracefully.
