Access denied for "user".

Hi there,
I'm attempting to edit a table using MySQL Administrator 1.1.10 on Mac OS X. Despite frequent crashing, I was able to set up a couple of fields, before the following error message began popping up:
Access denied for user 'user'@'%' to database 'database' (error 1044)
I've successfully logged into the SQL database, it's the correct user & password, and I was successfully creating a couple of rows before.
