deleting rows in database!!

I have 1GB database built from MyISAM tables. I deleted about 20% of total rows in database, but size of database files on hard disk didn't changed. ?to force the storage engine to resize files when I delete rows? -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members.
