Default data recovering?

Hi,
my server with Red Hat Fedora Core 2 installed on it, crashed.
I copied all the contents of folder /var/lib/mysql and saved them. Also, I had to do fresh (formatted) reinstallation of the server. And now I need to restore the database from that folder.

Database Tables type is : InnoDB
I have following files / folder with me:

Files found at /var/lib/mysql folder
.ibdata1.swp
db.err
ib_logfile0
ib_logfile1
ibdata1
Folder (with the name of database to be stored) containing .frm files

I want to recover my data. Is there anyway ??
please guide me. thanx! -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

Default

Copy old database's entire /data folder to a backup location and COMPLETELY uninstall old MySQL installation, and MANUALLY DELETE the old /data folder.

Then a new installation of MySQL. Through an administrative tool called "Navicat", create empty databases.
Turn off the MySQL service and close out Navicat. Copy the database folders from back up /data folder location to the new installation's /data folder location. Finally, copy the ibdata1 file from backed up location to the new installation's /data folder.
Finally, restart the MySQL service, go back into Navicat, and the data will be restored!

good luck! -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --
