unable to log on....?

hello friends,
I just downloaded and Installed MySQL 5 and the accompanying MySQL Query Browser. On running the Browser, it opens up a form.
1)What is the Server Host? Is it a name I could just make up since it is blank.
2) Do I create any User Name?

I can't log on with the Server Host name I create. please help!

When installing the server you must have given a password to the user root. This is what you should use for initial login. You can later create more users. If you have the database server installed on your local machine, then use localhost as server name.
